Dear Friends,
As many of you know, it has been a tough year for Karen and Tom, but with Karen now in full remission from breast cancer and Tom on the mend from heart surgery, I wanted to be able to give this couple something that would allow them to fully rejuvenate.Karen and Tom both give with their full hearts: to their boys, their friends and family, their greater community, and their students, and I thought if everyone pitched in $5.00 or $10.00 (or more!) then we would collectively be able to provide them with the means to have the honeymoon they never had the opportunity to take.
But the hardest task for us will be to keep this a SURPRISE. Over the next few weeks, feel free to send this link VIA EMAIL or FB MESSAGING ONLY to anyone you think might be interested in donating. Please DO NOT post this link to your FB page or anyone else's... remember, it's a SURPRISE!
On February 14th, I will present our collective gift to Tom and Karen as a Valentine's Day Gift from us all, so that they may recuperate and start anew in 2013.
